“Rise & Shine” (Volume 1, Issue 2 – “The Smedley Award”) was created for my friends in Toastmasters International, District 29. Corny ed-u-tainment? Yes! But what would you expect from an organization with a Founder with roots in rural Illinois? Enjoy.

And with all the interest today in comic book heroes – think of recent movies such as Batman, Spider-man, The Green Hornet and his side-kick Kato, or The Avengers … Yes, communicating via comics and cartoons offers “comic relief.”
